SSL on Wamp Server (Self-Signed and Godaddy)

It took some doing but got it going thanks to this tutorial...
SSL on Wamp

Godaddy SSL:

Change the httpd-ssl.conf and setup folders as described in the Self-Signed section, then
Request for Certificate
Install Certificate

In cmd:
cd\ (or where ever you want the files to go)
(the next command is all one long command)
C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.22\bin\openssl req -config "C:\wamp\bin\apache\apache2.2.22\conf\openssl.cnf" -new -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -keyout mydomain.key -out mydomain.csr

Note: If you don't use the -config you will get an error saying "Unable to load config info from /usr/local/ssl/openssl.cnf"

Files will go to your current folder in cmd(in this case C:\).
Copy the key into the C:\wamp\OpenSSL\certs
copy the PEM into the C:\wamp\OpenSSL\private
Submit the csr and get certificate from your certifcate provider (Godaddy)
Once downloaded, place your crt and bundle in C:\wamp\OpenSSL\cert
Restart WAMP

mySQL ODBC Error

"The specified DSN contains an architecture mismatch between the Driver and Application"

I'm using WAMP on 64-bit Windows 7. Turns out when you go to ODBC connections through control panel that brings up the 64-bit connections. I had to go to c:\windows\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe to setup the connection for 32-bit on a 64-bit OS.
Works great!

To manage a data source that connects to a 32-bit driver under 64-bit platform, use c:\windows\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe. To manage a data source that connects to a 64-bit driver, use c:\windows\system32\odbcad32.exe. In Administrative Tools on a 64-bit Windows 8 operating system, there are icons for both the 32-bit and 64-bit ODBC Data Source Administrator dialog box.

htaccess in WAMPServer

In the htaccess, I have "<IfModule mod_deflate.c>" so I just need to make sure mod_deflate.c is Loaded in the httpd.conf that Apache is using. Once I uncommented all the Loads that I needed my htaccess worked great!

Side note: I am using the htaccess from HTML 5 Broilerplate
